James and I got up at 4:15AM to drive to the south side of the island for our SCUBA trip off the coast of Niihau. Niihau is known as the Forbidden Island. It is privately owned, and tourists are not allowed to visit. It took us 1.5 hours by boat to get there, then we had a three-tank dive. It was some of the best diving I've done.
